1. The Watchdog - Protect yourself from purchasing lousy merchandise.
2. Camp Chase Gazette - self described as the largest and oldest publication devoted to the coverage of Civil War reenacting.
3. The Company Wag - A magazine chock full of useful articles and the like from the Mudsills.
4. The Citizen's Companion - the only regularly published magazine for those interested in civilian life of the Civil War era. Politics, art, religion, home life, clothing and fashion, literature, medicine -these topics and more combined to create the "citizen" of the 1860s.
5. Parade, Inspection and the Basic Evolutions of the Infantry Battalion (aka Dom's PIE) send Email to Dom Dal Bello of the Army Of the Pacific to order.
6. Instructions for Guards and Pickets send Email to Dom Dal Bello of the Army Of the Pacific to order.
7. The Hardcracker Handbook by Cal Kinzer. The Hardcracker Handbook is a 225+ page anthology of hard-to-find "how to" articles from back issues of the Camp Chase Gazette, Reenactor's Journal and The Watchdog, as well as from unit newsletters of The Mudsills, the Army of the Pacific, and others. 2. Fox's Regimental Losses Statistical information on regimental losses during the Civil War.
3. Official Records This site contains selected reports of the Commanders in the field for major battles of the American Civil War and selected events.
4. The War of the Rebellion is a compilation of the official records of the Union and Confederate armies published under the direction of the Secretary of War, The Honorary Elihu Root, Brig. Gen. Fred. C. Ainsworth, the Chief of the Record and Pension Office, U.S. War Department, and Mr. Joseph W. Kirkley (Mr. John S. Moodey, indexer).
